A Grade:

Once again we knew we were in for a challenge and had to bring our very best to get the job done. We came to play today right from the start I asked our girls for a lift of intensity from the very first whistle and wow did they bring that and more.

By half time we were in full control of this game leading by approx 15 goals. We trialled some different combinations and everyone of them worked a treat. We managed to dictate the oppositions positional changes by the last quarter sending them into a panick by moving there really tall goaler into defence to try and shut down our height but Birgs and Jess continued to dominate the Mt Eliza defensive end.

Stand outs were so many with Renee, Jayde, Georgia and Mardi proving that we have the best defensive line up in the competition. Courtney Emily and Jamie just lit up the attacking centre court and well as you guessed it Birgs and Jess were just simply unstoppable.

We made a great line up in Mt Eliza look second rate. Congrats on another great win girls 66- 43.

We cannot wait for our challenge against Edi this week.

B Grade:

Yesterday we met Mt Eliza on our home court and we knew we had to bring our very best to beat them. Our first half was sensational leading 25-12 at half time. Our second half was very evenly played out.

We were lucky enough to do the damage early on with score board pressure coming from our fantastic intensity early on. With our team goals to convert from intercepts and limit our skill errors when the heat was in the game was almost to perfection. Standouts for today were Breanna and Michelle who combined excellent in the defensive ring bringing in so many intercepts and looking like they had played together for years.

Bridget once again just controls our centre court and is a work horse in the middle. Emily just continues to destroy the opposition defenders with far too much class about her and barely missed a goal for the day once again. We came away with a 12 goal win as we stay on track for our top 2 finish.

Looking forward to our next challenge Edi- Asp. Bring it on.

C Grade:

Well well what a game! 1st half was another goal for goal and very close both qtrs! Tayla came off sick and Julia came on and really stood up to the challenge! 3rd qtr was tough. A credit to Kiah who has had a hard week with a death in the family you are an inspiration just to play and then to play like a star well done!

Going into the final qtr we where 3 points down. Everyone pulled it together and played the best qtr this year. Sara the great leader and captain she is stayed off and helped me coach she was at the defence end directing the girls! Mel and Elise In defence were outstanding Kiah came back on in WD to do a job and keep their WA at bay! Tayla came on and was still sick but busted her butt and opened up the game with flow down to the attack end. Steph played in the WA and was a star with her passes into goal ring and the play between Steph and Dani is like they are in each other’s heads.

Isabelle in GS using her height to get those rebounds was worthy and to add to it she hardly missed a goal. Dani was best on court today moving in the ring and goaling like a champ! Putting all this together gave us a 9 goal turn around in the last qtr to win by 6 points and putting us clear on points to 2nd on the ladder only by percentage from 1st!

Keep this up team and we will be Grand Final worthy! Look out Edi Asp here come the Bullettes!

D Grade:

Well done to every team member it was a top effort and a great game! Credit to our goalers Nicole and Briohny – their goaling was exceptional! We were goal for goal and very close for the first half!

Made some changes in the 3rd qtr and bought on fresh legs with Gabbi and Alyce who played 1 qtr like it was a full game they helped turn the game around to our advantage! 4th qtr Alison and Jess worked better as a team to help bring it home.

Our defenders were outstanding Kelly and Bec are so in sync as a defence team it was a pleasure to watch! Our best player award today went to Gerry! Gerry is a gun it doesn’t matter where on the court she played she puts in 110% and never complains and gets on with the job her read of the play is 2nd to none!

Well done team coming home with a 13 point win to take us clear in points to 3rd on the ladder only by percentage from 2nd! I as a coach are very proud of how you are coming together as a team!
