A Grade:

A Grade were very undermanned today with several players unavailable due to VNL games. We started off with 5 out of a starting 7 players who had already played in the game prior. They were very tired and exhausted but all stepped up and rattled Langwarrin and managed to be 7 goals up at half time.

What a credit to all you girls on your efforts and proves how powerful we are and the depths we have in our A and B squads. Georgia/ Breanna/ Mel & Peyton were all outstanding in the defensive end. Courtney & Bridgette controlled our centre court and Mandy Birgs /Sammy and Emily were unstoppable in the goaling end.

We were always in complete control from start to finish but never bridged a huge gap on the score board. Today Renee Brewster was best on court working tirelessly in the defensive end and really stood up and was a great leader on court.

Comfortably sitting undefeated and 3 games clear on top of the ladder this group is really building for something very special. We look forward to our next challenge in Edi Asp.

Well done everyone on another fantastic job. Well deserved!

B Grade:

Today we played Langwarrin at Mornington on a beautiful sunny day. The B grade Bullettes came out charging scoring 15 goals in the first quarter.

I asked the girls to build on the lead each quarter and they did an excellent job playing out the 4 quarters right until the last whistle. Emily and Brooke worked really well off our centre passes working on our structures and set plays. Peyton/ Breanna/ Sarah & Ash backed each other up in the defensive end and communicated really well.

Mel Cotta once again proved she can play any position and played goals all day. Thanks so much to Dani King for stepping up in the last quarter in goals and did a great job. We really appreciate you helping out for the day.

Our best on court today was Bridgette who absolutely dominated the centre court with several intercepts from fantastic defensive pressure. We came away with another percentage boosting win 63- 24 doubling our win from last time we played them.

We look forward to our next challenge in Edi Asp. Bring it on! Well done girls.

C Grade:

Well today was not our day! First half was the makings of a great game – both teams played well and we were goal for goal.

The 3rd qtr was our qtr we pulled out all the stops fantastic in our defensive end  – Sarah, Elise and Mel who just stopped them form scoring at every chance! We started bringing the ball down thru the court well with Taylor and Kiah and then Steph going into WA settled the play with her fantastic passing into the goalers.

Dani and Issy started playing well and getting the goals in. This qtr took us to being 6 up going into the last.

Then the last qtr we lost our bundle and we couldn’t take a trick right throughout the whole court! 10 goal turn around giving us the loss of 4 points.

Next week is a new week we will pick ourselves up and move on to show the other teams how good we really are!

D Grade:

We hard a hard day at the office today with only 1 goaler in Briohny. Nicole unfortunately couldn’t make the game. This was a lot of pressure on Briony and she is the youngest in the team. Good effort Briony! We threw Gabby into the deep end and she played GS for the first time ever and what a fantastic job she did! Maybe with some training and goaling practice we can turn her into a goaler
