A Grade:

A Grade was a lot tighter than we thought it would be. Tonight our girls were challenged by an aggressive Mornington lineup. Leading at every break our girls were in complete control once again from start to finish.

We made several changes as we have the luxury of changing up both the attacking and defensive ends at anytime and with so much depth of talent in the squad it really works with many different combos. As we come into the last 6 weeks before finals our main focus is to figure out and trial different combinations to see which work best.

Tonight our defensive end in Mardi/ Georgia/ Renee and Jayde were fantastic and work so well with each other. Courtney and Birgs played through our attacking mid court all night and once they got there eye in together they were great getting better and better the longer the game went on.

Best on court was Sam who very rarely misses a shot on goal and her partners in crime who continue to dominate were Jess and Mandy. In a scrappy match we got the chocolates tonight winning by 9 goals.

Great job to our undefeated A grade squad. Looking forward to our next challenge in Langwarrin.

B Grade:

We met Mornington tonight on a very cold/ icy night on their outdoor courts. We were in for a challenge as we were missing several players.

We started the game really well working the ball into the goal circle with patients and it paid off nicely giving the girls a good lead at quarter time. We welcomed back Rachel who dominated the defensive ring considering its her first game back from injury. We managed to keep building on our lead each break which really put the pressure on Mornington.

Peyton and Rachel were superb in our defensive ring all night bringing in so many defensive rebounds. Our midcourt in Brooke/ Bridget/ Ash/ Taylah & Sarah really stepped up tonight and went to another level with defensive hands over pressure causing Mornington to constantly turn the ball over.

Our best on for tonight was Mel who was unbelievable in our attacking circle and assisted nicely by Breanna. Mel was so quick with her ball movement and decisions and continues to play some excellent netball.

Tonight we got the job done by 23 goals. A great team effort by everyone. Well done girls enjoy the weekend off.

C Grade:

Once again these girls were in full control from start to finish leading for the whole game. 2nd qtr was outstanding keeping Mornington down with a score of 15 to 4.

2nd half we changed it around and played Steph and Izzy in goals together for the first time. With such a versatile team players can be moved around with minimal fuss. This is a great team attribute to have.

The whole team played fantastically and best on was Elise who was unstoppable across the whole court.
With a great win 44 to 30 this will keep us nicely sitting on top of the ladder.

D Grade:

This week our girls had a score to settle! With a very aggressive Mornington our girls took it to them.

We started off goal for goal, then we warmed up and took it away. By 2nd qtr we had a nice lead and kept the lead up until the final whistle.

Our defenders Bec and Kelly played a fantastic game which was their undoing and 2nd qtr onwards Laura found a new gear and was unstoppable for the rest of the game getting best on tonight.

Well done to the whole team 24-19
